Background
Purchasing solicited sealed bids for the Hutto Landfill Farm Lease 100 Acre Tract. Invitations were sent to 1,150 potential bidders and was viewed by 20 potential bidders; 2 bids were received. After evaluation of the bids received, it was determined that Fischer Farming returned the overall best bid in the amount of $8,000.00 per year or $80.00 per acre.
