Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on an order declaring an emergency and a grave necessity due to unforeseeable circumstances and approve a budget amendment to acknowledge addiitional expenditures for the District Attorney's Office.

The state legislature passed House Bill 9 in the 2015 legislative session.  The bill became effective September 1, 2015.  The bill raises the employee's retirement contribution thru the end of the biennium, August 31, 2019.  The state requires the County to pay the additional retirement contribution for the District Attorney.  However, the state is providing the supplemental funds to offset the related expenditures.  This budget amendment is to recognize the October 2018 thru August 2019 revenues and expenditures related to the increase.
