Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the Interlocal Agreement between Liberty County and Williamson County for the sale of a surplus patrol vehicle in accordance with TX Local Gov't Code 263.152 (a) (1).
Background
Williamson County is willing to provide one (1) used, safe, well-maintained and operable surplus patrol vehicle to Liberty County for their Courthouse Security Officer under the District Attorney at a fair rate not to exceed $8,170.78. Our last two Interlocal Agreements with Liberty County was approved on March 27, 2018 for 6 patrol vehicles for the Sheriff's Office and another 6 patrol vehicles for its Constables, Deputy Constables and Mental Health Investigators approved on November 15, 2018.
