Recognize County Judge Dan Gattis for his role as Williamson County Emergency Management Director from 2007 to 2018.
Background
Chapter 418 of the Texas Government Code acknowledges and affirms the County Judge as the Emergency Management Director, for the county in which he or she presides over, and places the overall responsibility of all emergency management related activities upon them. Dan Gattis has served in this capacity beginning in January 2007 and ending December 2018. During this time Williamson County has been impacted by many natural and man-made disasters requiring the leadership and strategic oversight of Dan Gattis.
