Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the creation of one (1) new fulltime Specialty Court Coordinator position and elimination of two (2) Parttime Court Coordinator 1 positions #9933 and #9934, needed to coorindinate and oversee the specialty court dockets in County Court at Law 2.

The creation of one fulltime position from the two existing parttime positions will not have a budget impact and funds are coming from existing grant funds, combined with existing funds in a parttime budget line. This effort has included work with HR on the job description, the Budget Office, and the Auditors Office. This fulltime position will work for Judge Laura Barker and is needed to improve efficiency of Project Team staffings, fill an identified need for a mental health position on the Project Team and to increase stability in this important coordinator postion. This is espcially important with the increased number of veterans that are entering the Veterans Treatment Court with high behavioral health needs. The grant funds are from grant #2758105 from the Office of the Governor.
