Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on awarding RFP #1812-283 Emergency Generator and Automatic Transfer Switch Preventive Maintenance, Repair and Rental Services to the lowest responsive proposer, Austin Generator Service pursuant to their submitted response and the terms and conditions listed in the RFP.
 

This RFP was previously advertised under RFP #1810-269. At that time, the Commissioner's Court rejected the only responsive proposal to with the goal of increasing competition and hopefully obtaining a greater number of proposals. With the direction of the Court, the RFP was re-advertised.  Again, only 1 responsive proposal was received. The evaluation team recommends awarding to Austin Generator Service with an initial thirty-six (36) month term beginning on the award date, with the possibility of extending the contract in twelve (12) month increments for up to an additional twenty-four (24) months. Estimated initial cost of $50,000.00.  Christi Stromberg is the point of contact and the funding source is 100-0509-4500.
