Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on the adoption of the Williamson County Community Flood Protection Plan by resolution.
Background
Through a county-wide collaborative effort, a mitigation plan specific to floods has been developed as a resource for both local governments and the public to learn more about the risk of specific locations and outlines potential mitigation strategies for future consideration. Analysis was peformed on individual stream basins and applied to local jurisdictions for greater clarity of information. The plan can be located on the Williamson County Office of Emergency Management webite at www.wilco.org/Departments/Emergency-Management.
