Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on appointment of Commissioner Russ Boles to the Capital Area Rural Transportation System (CARTS) Board of Directors for a two-year term beginning April 1, 2019.
Background
The Capital Area Rural Transportation System (CARTS) Board of Directors includes a member of the County Commissioners Court, or City Council in the case of the San Marcos urbanized area, from ten local jurisdictions in our District: Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Hays, Fayette, Lee, Travis, Williamson Counties and the City of San Marcos.
The CARTS District has requested the Williamson County Commissioners Court to appoint a member to the CARTS Board of Directors for a two-year term beginning April 1, 2019.
