Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding the engagement of the law firm of McCall, Parkhurst & Horton to serve as Bond Counsel to Williamson County in connection with the possible issuance of bonds, certificates of obligation, notes and other obligations by Williamson County; and exemption of those attorney services from the competitive bid/proposal requirements of the County Purchasing Act pursuant to the discretionary exemption for personal or professional services, as set forth under Section 262.024(a)(4) of the Texas Local Government Code.
