This Change Order adds a force account item to the Contract to pay Austin Energy the cost to extend power service to the HEB west driveway. Austin Energy will extend power from the existing transformer west of HEB's west driveway, along Lakeline Blvd to the HEB west driveway. The County's contractor, Smith Contracting, will make the payment to Austin Energy for the work and the County will reimburse Smith Contracting for the cost. A force account was set up to pay the actual cost, plus an allowable 5% mark up for Smith Contracting and for any unforeseen costs that might occur.
