Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on awarding IFB #1901-289 Jester Annex, Taylor Annex and Taylor Clinic Parking Lots Fog Seal FY19 to the lowest responsive bidder, Alpha Paving Industries LLC and authorizing execution of the agreement.
Background
Purchasing solicited bids for Parking Lots Fog Seal FY 19. 2,566 vendors were invited to submit bids of which 30 vendors viewed the bid documents and 1 vendor submitted a bid. Alpha Paving was the only vendor to respond with a bid in the amount of $255,882.50. After a review of the bid received by Road and Bridge, it was determined that the bid was responsive and Alpha Paving is being recommended for award. Department point of contact is Kon Kwan.
