Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a line item transfer for District Courts.
Background
The requested line item transfer is necessary to cover transcript expenses through the remainder of Fiscal Year 2018-2019. The increase in expenses is due to the increased number of transcripts requested by indigent defendants for appellate purposes. The District Courts are required to produce the transcripts to indigent defendants. $23,870 was incurred in Fiscal Year 2017-2018. For Fiscal Year 2018-2019 $24,426 was spent from October 1, 2018 to March 30, 2019.
