Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on authorizing the extension of Aggregate Contract 1704-154 with Vulcan Construction Materials, for the same terms and conditions as the existing contract, with the exception of price increase request from $47.14/ton to $48.89/ton due to increase in asphalt materials, production and transportation costs, subject to Commissioners Court approval.
Background
The Road and Bridge department submitted a Vendor Performance Report (VPR) that reflected that the vendor met county requirements on contract, and request to renew for the second renewal period. The funding source for this contract renewal is under Aggregate/Rock Materials, 01.0200.0210.003556.
