Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on Professional Services Agreements for orthopedic and specialty surgical services between Mobile Veterinary Specialist, PLLC and Williamson County and Austin Area Mobile Veterinary Surgery, PLLC and Williamson County both relating to the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter; and exemption of those services from the competitive bid/proposal requirements of the County Purchasing Act pursuant to the discretionary exemption for personal or professional services, as set forth under Tex. Loc. Gov’t Code § 262.024(a)(4).

Dr. Allman is a Veterinarian that does orthopedic and specialty surgeries. He is a mobile veterinarian. We make an appointment with him whenever we have a cat or dog that requires this type of surgery. His fees are greatly reduced compared to a specialty center.  These surgeries are paid for through the medical donation fund.
