Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a line item transfers for Juvenile Services.

Juvenile Services is requesting line item transfers into Medical Supplies (3200), Medical Hospital (3316), and Dental (3317) from Professional Services (4100).  One youth in our care required emergency surgery costing approx. $7,800 which depleted our medical budget line item and several youth in our custody have required more extensive dental work outside the normal dental check, which has deleted this line faster than anticipated.  Additionally, our medical staff has requested a new medical supplies cart to replace their old cart that is no longer functioning.  This cart is used to carry youth medications and medical supplies securely throughout the facility.
We believe these transfers will allow us to meet youth needs for the remainder of the fiscal year, with the exception of any unanticipated medical/dental emergencies.
