Background
Emergency Communications requests this transfer of funds for the Comprehensive 9-1-1 Education Program Development contract as reviewed and approved in Commissioners Court on May 21, 2019.
The need for this contract was identified as a part of the MCP Operational Assessment Report presented to the Commissioners Court in August of last year. The funding for this project is a part of the contingency funds budgeted for Emergency Communications and is consistent with Phase 1 of the implementation of changes identified in the Operational Assessment.
