This Change Order revises items at the request of Austin Energy (A/E). The conduit layout on the project was revised, which included the relocation of the electrical service pole and foundation away from the proposed sidewalk. A/E also requested revisions to the call-outs on the ground boxes for identification purposes and reduced the wiring for illumination poles. This Change Order also adds a pay item to widen the 6 foot sidewalk to 8 feet, eliminating the need for a bike lane in the existing vehicle travel lane. The sidewalk was previously constructed to a width of 6 feet, due to the proximity to the existing Austin Energy poles. The adjacent rain garden erosion control device was adjusted to provide space for the additional 2 feet required for the sidewalk.
