Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on authorizing a parts blanket purchase order for Fleet Services to Don Hewlett in the amount of $110,000.

Background

This purchase is exempt from the competitive bidding requirements as allowed per Texas Local Government Code Discretionary Exemptions Section 262.024.(a)(11). The court has previously granted this exemption for vehicle and equipment repairs.  There is no attachment for a blanket purchase order.  Funding was approved in the FY2020 budget.  This expenditure will be charged to 01.0882.0882.003523.  Department contact is Kevin Teller.
