Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a line item transfer for the Road and Bridge Division.
Background
This transfer is at the request of the Auditor's Office and is necessary in order to fulfill workers' compensation and property insurance obligations. Funds are available in project P488 because the initial plan to use reinforced concrete pavement was changed to hot mix asphalt, which will reduce the project cost. The change was made because the process of installing reinforced concrete pavement restricts residents' access to their driveways for a significantly longer period of time than when hot mix asphalt is used.
