Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the Services Contract between Williamson County and Separation Systems Consultants, Inc. to provide Asbestos Abatement and Demolition of a home in the amount of $38,000.00, as per TIPS Contract #170602, and authorizing execution of the agreement. Funding is provided by P496.

The scope of this agreement includes the abatement of asbestos containing materials (ACM) as identified in the asbestos survey report prepared by SSCI in September 2019. Materials to be abated and disposed of include approximately 2,000 square feet of Ceiling Drywall Texture as well as the demolition the home located at 20 Gabriel Forest in Georgetown, TX which was acquired through ROW acquisition. Section 251.016 of the Transportation Code and AG Opinion GA-0693 provide for the removal of objects in the county road ROW. Department point of contact is Dwayne Gossett.
