Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving an Interlocal Agreement between Williamson County and Hutto ISD Police Department for the sale of a ballistic vest in the amount of $100 and authorizing the execution of the agreement.
Background
A Williamson County Investigator is leaving the County and will be employed by Hutto ISD PD. Hutto ISD PD has asked to purchase his ballistic vest from the County Attorney's Office. Ballistic vests are fitted to each officer and purchasing a new vest is not as cost effective as selling a current one that fits. After the purchase has been made, the county no longer assumes warranty for the vest. See attached ILA agreement.
