Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the use of existing funds for potential repairs and modifications to the Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace Building in Taylor, P 431, which is funded out of the 2015 CO with the full budget available in the amount of $650,000.
Background
The existing JP4 building is in need of a structural assessment to determine the next course of action for any potential repairs and modifications to the building. Once a structural assessment is completed and a report is produced, this information can then be used to determine the next course of action for the building. There are additional improvement items currently approved and funded in the Facilities FY20 budget which are on hold until further direction is given.
