Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on exempting Central Square from the competitive bidding requirements established by Section 262.024 (a) (7) of the Texas Local Government Code Discretionary Exemptions, as the sole provider for supervision services for Williamson County and authorize the purchase.

The exemption will designate Central Square as Sole Source Provider for Public Safety software to include CAD (computer aided dispatch), RMS (records management system), OneSolution, TriTech, CryWolf, Superion and Tellus brand software, including Licensing, Maintenance, Support, modification and training. The County currently owns and utilizes multiple products in the Central Square line and this exemption will allow continuance of that use as well as future modifications and improvements.  The sole source posting was in Negometrix for 14 days with no competitive responses received.
