Purchasing solicited sealed bids for Forest North Drainage Phase III. 16 vendors participated in the solicitation of which 6 vendors submitted a bid. The lowest bid received was 13.7% lower than the Engineer's estimate. In addition to meeting the bid qualifications subject to being low bidder, DeNucci Construction has successfully completed a previous Williamson County project (Forest North Phase II) performing similar work. Based on the quality of previous work done for the County and being the low bid of $4,793,058.15, we concur with the Design Engineer’s (K. Friese & Associates) recommendation of award for the Forest North Phase III’s contract to DeNucci Construction. Department point of contact is HNTB.
