Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on accepting and approving a report on the Williamson County Brushy Creek Regional Trail – Phase V Project (P-419); Change Order #05 in the amount of $19,210.00 to approve funding from within the existing contract contingency for Civil Sitework changes, which was executed by Tom Stanfield, Williamson County Facilities Project Manager, pursuant to the previous grant of authority under Section 262.031 of the Local Government Code.
Background
This change order was to provide quantity adjustments to Reinforced Concrete Slope Protection (RipRap Conc 5in) & Reinforced Concrete Curbing (Conc Curb TyC2) Unit Price Pay Application Items to match actual installed amounts and to also provide ADA accessible parking stall, now needed due to delays in construction of the adjoining section by City of Round Rock. On October 30, 2018, the Williamson County Commissioners Court granted Tom Stanfield, Williamson County Facilities Project Manager, with general authority to approve change orders for the Agreement for Construction Services with Chasco Construction, Ltd, LLP in relation to the Williamson County Brushy Creek Regional Trail – Phase V Project for any increase in costs up to a total maximum amount of $30,000.00 in accordance with Section 262.031 of the Local Government Code – Changes in Plans and Specifications. This report is being provided for purposes of notifying the court of such change order and to place it in the minutes of the Commissioners Court.
