Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on the acceptance of Nondisclosure and Confidentiality Agreement with Tenex Software Solutions, Inc., a potential vendor, to allow the Elections Department a two-week trial of an epollbook solution. Acceptance of this agreement is not an actual commitment to purchase any product, but would only allow for a review of the product.

The Elections Department is in the process of researching upgrades to our voter check-in epollbook equipment. It is important for the Elections Department to be able to demonstrate each potential system to verify compatibility with current voter registration databases, pollworker usability, voter experience and also to ensure any potential system is in compliance with Texas Secretary of State requirements. In order to provide the Elections Department with a system to demonstrate for a two-week period, Tenex Software Solutions, Inc. is requesting a Nondisclosure and Confidentiality Agreement to protect the confidentiality of their proprietary information.
