Background
Purchasing solicited bids for CR 118 Bridge Rehab. 17 suppliers participated in the IFB of which 3 suppliers submitted a response. RHB Construction submitted the lowest responsive bid in the amount of $23,932.50 which is $12,613.50 below the Engineer's Estimate a cost decrease of 52.6%. In addition to meeting the bid qualifications subject to being low bidder, RHB Construction has performed similar work on other projects and received positive references from those contacted.
