Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on exempting 7-Sigma from the competitive bidding requirements established by Section 262.024.(a)(7) of the Texas Local Government Code Discretionary Exemptions, as the sole provider for Training Manikins for Williamson County and authorizing the purchase.
Background
The exemption will allow EMS to purchase Training Manikins as needed, with the initial purchase estimated cost of $11,665.00. The Sole Source posting was in Negometrix for 14 days with no competitive responses received. The requested Sole Source designation would be applicable for a period of 36 months.
