Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on authorizing the disposal of various county equipment assets through Trade-in for Constable Precinct 4 including nine (9) shotguns, pursuant to Tx. Local Gov’t Code 263.152.
Background
Please see attached list for details. These shotguns were removed from service based on their age, overall condition and cost of restoration to bring them into acceptable standards. They were transferred to Capital Armory in Cedar Park for credit that is being used towards replacement weapons.
