Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on awarding RFCSP #3471 Roof Replacements to the highest scoring respondent Montgomery Construction & Roofing and authorizing execution of the agreement.

Background

Purchasing solicited competitive sealed proposals for Roof Replacements at the Georgetown and Taylor Health Departments. Ten (10) suppliers participated in the solicitation of which four (4) suppliers submitted a proposal. It was determined that one (1) supplier was non-responsive. After a thorough evaluation of the remaining three (3) responses, it was determined that Montgomery Construction & Roofing submitted the overall best response. Total award amount of the contract will be $258,326.00 (Project total $254,326.00 & Owner's Contingency $4,000.00). Department point of contact is Dwayne Gossett. Funding source 01.0100.0509.005300.
