Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on awarding RFQ #2727-2-5-6-7 Planning and Design of Park Bond Projects (Berry Springs Park, Project #B, Design and Extension of the Southwest Regional Trail, Project #D1 & D2, and Planning the Extension of Brushy Creek Trail, Project #D3) to the overall most qualified firm Halff Associates, Inc. and authorizing execution of the agreement. Funding sources P559 (B), P553 (D1), P558 (D2), P561 (D3).
Background
Purchasing solicited sealed statements of qualifications for the planning and design of projects related to the 2019 Park Bond. Forty-four (44) firms participated in the solicitation, of which ten (10) firms submitted a response. An evaluation was held for each of the projects defined in the RFQ. After evaluation of Projects B and D1-D3, it was determined that Halff was the most qualified to provide the services required by the County for these projects. Total award amount is $500,000.00.
