Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the purchase of Frontier Ethernet Internet Access Services from Freeit Data Solutions in the amount of $60,000.00 per the terms of DIR Contract #DIR-TSO-4229, the Services Agreement between Williamson County and Frontier Communications and all related County Addenda to support the operations of the Williamson County ITS Department and authorizing execution of the documents.
Background
This is additional network bandwidth that’s needed due to the increase in remote access and teleworking and is paid for from the CARES Act funding. The Freeit Data Solutions quote dated 7/2/2020 does not require execution by either party. Department point of contact is Richard Semple. Funding Source CARES Funds 418P.
