Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on authorizing the disposal of various county vehicle assets through Destruction including one (1) 2011 Ford Crown Victoria, pursuant to Tx. Local Gov’t Code 263.152.

Please see attached list for details.  This vehicle was previously approved for use as salvage parts after being declared a Total Loss in 2013.  After full utilization as a salvage resource, the vehicle was sent to auction.  Two (2) previous attempts to auction were made in 2016 and payments were received by Williamson County but buyer never took possession of the vehicle and forfeited ownership rights per the terms of the auction.  The vehicle currently has minimal value to Williamson County as the previous sales amounts were both under $165.00.  This item is for Court approval to scrap the vehicle remnants and sell as scrap to a metal recycling firm.
