Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving an exception to policy and transferring funds from PCN 1384 to PCN's 1320, 1288, & 1313 to accommodate tenure.
Background
The Sheriffs Office is seeking an exception to current policy to accommodate the reallocation of position funds from PCN 1384 to PCN's 1320, 1288, & 1313. These PCN’s are held by former corrections staff who have transferred into Law Enforcement roles during FY 2019. Their anniversary dates occur during the budget lockdown and were not updated prior to lockdown dates. Transferring funds at this time allows for adherence to the Promotion (& tenure restoration policy) currently in place by the County.
Note: There is no fiscal impact to moving the funds between PCN's.
