Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving Commercial Security Integration for jail camera software license and migration to a new server in the amount of $8,900 and exempting this purchase from competitive bidding requirements as per Texas Local Government Code Discretionary Exemption 262.024(a)(7)(D) captive replacement parts or components for equipment.

Background

Approval of this purchase will support the operations of the Williamson County Jail.  Commercial Security Integration is the current provider of the Genetec software license for the jail camera system.  The proposals attached outline the continuation of service for one month to finish out the fiscal year, and a migration from an old server to a new server provided by the Williamson County IT Department.  IT has reviewed and approved.  This expenditure will be charged to 01.0100.0570.004500.  Department contact is Chief Randolph Doyer.
