Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on authorizing the purchase of Goods and Services During Covid-19 Operations, in the amount of $4,300.00, between Health Fairs Plus, LLC and Williamson County and authorize the execution of the contract.

Background

IT and Benefits are partnering together on this Virtual Benefit Fair Platform through HealthFairs Plus, a company that currently works with United Health Care.  Williamson County will be using the HealthFairs Plus platform to host Williamson County’s Virtual Benefit Fair this year.  A project manager from Health Fairs Plus will assist us setting up the event as well as the vendors that will be participating and then providing reporting on participants.  We will have a passport encouraging employees as the more they participate, in each event, the more chances of earning a ticket for prize drawings to be provided by United Health Care. The Virtual Benefit Fair will be hosted for a two-week period, October 5th - 16th to provide employees the opportunity to do the following: Watch the 2021 Open Enrollment Presentation that will showcase the new plan offering; participate in a live chat with the Benefits Team to ask questions; participate virtually in two wellness activity challenges (Hydration and Step); participate in a Benefit Quiz/Wellness Scavenger Hunt (engaging them to locate information through the OE Presentations and testing their knowledge on what they have learned); and participate in any of the following webinars: Stress Management, TCDRS, Nationwide 457B, Office Yoga, Financial, Healthy Eating, Cooking Demo, Diabetes and UHC Real Appeal. It is our hope that all employees, spouses and family will have an opportunity to visit the Virtual Benefit Fair at a time that is convenient for them and as provided by their departments. The points of Contact are Shelly Loughrey and Alison Gleason. Funding Source: CARES ACT
