Agenda Item
Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on new and revised fees for the Parks Department.
Background
1. New park fees are proposed for River Ranch County Park, which is slated for opening in 2020.
2. A new fee is proposed for the recently completed Pavilion at the Expo Center.
3. Revised park fees are proposed for existing parks: Berry Springs Park and Preserve, Champion Park and Southwest Regional Park. These fees were last adjusted in April 2015.
To help determine fair and competitive rates, a comparative fee analysis was conducted by park staff of other municipal Parks and Recreation Departments in Williamson County, U.S. Army Corps of Engineer Parks in Williamson County, the Travis County Parks Department and several Texas State Parks.
