Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action to adopt a Fee Schedule for services provided by Williamson County Fire Marshal’s Office, pursuant to Tex. Local Gov’t § 233.065, effective November 17, 2020.
Background
In addition to the adoption of the 2018 International Fire Code, it is also proposed that a Fee Schedule be adopted. This proposed fee schedule will allow the Fire Marshal’s Office to operate an effective review/inspection program and is intended to offset costs of employees and equipment. The proposed fees are based on staff hours required to perform plan reviews and required inspections.
