Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on resolution recognizing November 18, 2020 as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Day.
Background
The use of geo-spatial technologies is ever more important to Williamson County staff and citizens. GIS technologies help power many of the critical functions of government such as public safety, transportation, land records, and much more. GIS Day is a way to inform, educate, and expand the use of these technologies that bring better information and efficiencies to those that need it.
