This Change Order adds an item for additional potholing needed to locate City of Austin (COA) water line facilities not called for in the plans and outside the scope of the existing bid items. In addition, this Change Order adds an item to reimburse for mailboxes that are not shown in the plans but need to be removed and replaced due to the COA water line relocations.

Item 510-6001 MAILBOX REMOVE AND REPLACE-S (TWG-POST) TY 1 is an existing bid item in the County portion of the contract. This change order adds the item to the items paid for by the COA. The City of Austin has agreed to pay the additional costs associated with these items. The use of these items will be directed by the City of Austin inspector assigned to the project.
