Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on awarding RFP #T2147 EMS Billing Services to DM Medical Billing and authorizing the execution of the contract.
Background
Williamson County received four (4) submittals through our bidding portal. After extensive in-depth evaluation, the EMS Department is recommending awarding Billing Services to the current vendor, DM Medical Billings, for the initial 3 (three) year contract period beginning on January 12, 2021. DM Medical Billings has proven themselves an effective compliant billing company. The percentage of yearly revenue will be a flat fee of 5.30% (five and three-tenths percent). The point of contact is Beth Jones. Funding source is 01.0100.0540.004101 Collection Fees.
