Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a request for the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter to apply for a grant to aid in the care of shelter kittens from the Orphan Kitten Club.

During the months of spring through early fall, the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter receives an increased number of cats and kittens. The shelter relies heavily on kitten foster families and volunteers. This grant application, if awarded, would provide $14,500 to cover additional supplies that can be given to foster families and volunteers. These supplies would aid in the health and wellbeing of the kittens, especially when the shelter is closed.
