Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on a Resolution declaring the week of April 11-17, 2021, as "Public Safety Telecommunicator Week" for Williamson County.
Background
National Public Safety Telecommunicator Week recognizes the hard work, commitment, and performance of the 9-1-1 Operators and Radio Dispatchers. This past year their dedication was evident as they continued to serve during the global COVID-19 pandemic, through an unprecedented number of tropical storms, and during the recent winter weather event that halted most operations within the state of Texas. Williamson County Telecommunicators are here to serve the community 24/7/365 and are the backbone of Public Safety.
