Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the service contract between Williamson County and Brycomm, LLC to provide fiber cabling to the Justice Center in the amount of $12,128.12 per the terms of the DIR Contract #DIR-CPO-4777 (previously approved at the July 27, 2021, Commissioners Court meeting under agenda item #14, with the incorrect DIR Contract number) and authorizing the execution of the contract.
Background
This contract will benefit the Justice Center Jail with the installation of 640 6-foot single mode inner lock fiber cables, wall mount locking racks, adaptor panels and other hardware. The attached Scope of Work outlines the installation. Legal and Contract Audit Departments have reviewed the SOW. IT Department has given approval. The Department point of contact is Richard Semple. The expenditure line item is 01.0100.0503.004509.
