Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the agreement between Williamson County and CBIZ Valuation Group, LLC for Property Insurance Valuation Services in the amount of $39,200.00, and authorizing the execution of the agreement.

This service agreement provides for a comprehensive analysis and update to the County’s buildings and insurable site improvements for the purpose of accurately insuring all buildings.  A re-rate from the county’s insurance broker, Lee Insurance Agency, is issued each year on October 1^st. An accurate value for buildings and property is required to assure that the county does not under insure its property.

Three (3) firms were sourced for price proposals and qualifications.  The CBIZ proposal, for $39,200.00, provides the best value to the County.  This service is not an appraisal for market value purposes but a value assessment for insurance purposes.  The process will utilize comprehensive underwriting data to complete the report.  This exercise is completed every 3-5 years.
