Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the agreement between Gartner, Inc. and Williamson County for a one-year, management consulting services agreement to include Gartner Access for Technical Professionals and IT Leaders in the amount of $100,991.58 pursuant to DIR contract #DIR-TSO-4099, and authorizing execution of the agreement.
Background
Approval of this item will support the operations of the Williamson County Information Technology Systems Department. Gartner provides research, expert advice, contract reviews, best practices, and industry insights through their website, one-on-one sessions, articles, and conferences. They are industry experts in IT and are vendor neutral when assisting in evaluating solutions. Agreement is attached that includes links to view more information about each type of access listed in this agreement. Department contact is Richard Semple. This expenditure will be charged to 01.0100.0503.004100.
