Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $148,710.35 for T3346 Southeast Loop Phase 1 (James Construction Group LLC) P:463 Funding Source: Road Bond.
Background
This Change Order adds the installation of barbed wire fence and gates along the north and south sides of the right-of-way (ROW) through the Wolfe property.
The property owner was not compensated for the fencing placed along the ROW during the negotiations for the property with Williamson County. The installation of the fence is being added to the roadway construction portion of the project. The wire fencing will match the existing fencing on of the property. The Wolfe parcel is a large parcel on the east end of the project and the work in this area is in Phase 1 of the construction sequence. Time charges began on July 19th and the Contractor will not be able to work in that area until the fence is installed due the cattle on the property.
This change order was originally included on the August 3, 2021, Commissioners Court Agenda but was pulled due to incomplete signatures.
