Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 10 in the amount of $43,291.29 for 1812-282 Seward Junction (Jordan Foster) P:271 Funding Source: Road Bond.
Background
| This Change Order provides the final balancing for the overrun/underrun of Contract quantities for bid items related to small signs on the project as a result of addressing field conditions not accounted for in the original plans. This Change Order also adds small signs to the project to provide additional safety measures that include route markers to match the surrounding intersections, added street name signs, and revises the size of signs to make them consistent throughout the project. There are four (4) roadway sections in the project, Southwest, US 183 Crossover, Southeast and CR 260. Each roadway section includes a specific set of pay items. Pay items that were originally included in the Southwest portion of the project are being added to the Southeast and Crossover portions. The Contractor has agreed to extend the original bid items costs from one portion to the others. |
