Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the amendment between Public Health Management Corporation and Williamson County for the addition of DUI-RANT licenses in the amount of $1,100.00 per year to the original agreement, and authorizing execution of the amendment.

Approval of this agreement will support the operations of the Williamson County Veterans Court.  Amendment replaces Schedule A and Exhibit A to add the DUI-RANT licenses ( Risk And Needs Triage) to the existing RANT agreement approved by Commissioner's Court on 6.15.2021 under item #14.  This brings the annual total for both RANT Risk ($1,100) and DUI-RANT ($1,100) to $2,200. DUI-RANT is a highly secure, web-based tool designed to help judges and other criminal justice professionals place adult DUI offenders into the appropriate care setting. In addition to a risk/needs score, the report also lists the specific risk and needs factors identified for the client.  Original agreement and amendment are attached.  This expenditure will be charged to Federal Grant 439A.  Department contact is Brenda Staples.
