Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on extending Property/Casualty & Worker’s Compensation Insurance RFP Contract #1904-308, through Lee Insurance Agency for a total amount of $4,528,963 for the term October 1, 2021 through October 1, 2022.
Background
The premium increase for the renewal term is $1,960,229. The premium reflects an increase in property value, employee salary, and experience rating. The funding sources are complex as each department/office must pay its portion. Funding is provided annually in the General Fund departmental budgets 02050, 04419, 04414, 04413, and 04412. The extension is handled by the Human Resources Department contacts Malea Schmitt and Rebecca Clemons.
